Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for these positions, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must hold an MBBS degree.
- For specialist positions, an FCPS or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) is required.
Experience Requirements:
- Candidates with relevant postgraduate experience in their respective medical fields will be given preference.
- Prior work experience in a government or military healthcare facility will be an added advantage.
Age Limits:
- For civilian candidates:
- Maximum age limit is 45 years for BPS-18 positions.
- Maximum age limit is 35 years for BPS-17 positions.
- For ex-Army personnel:
- Maximum age limit is 55 years.
Job Benefits and Allowances
The selected candidates will be appointed on a contract basis as per the Federal Government Employee regulations. The positions come with competitive salary packages aligned with the government pay scale. However, applicants should take note of the following conditions:
- No pension or gratuity will be provided upon contract completion.
- The posting location will be anywhere within Sindh, as per the requirements of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh).
- Private medical practice is permitted only if formally approved by the competent authority.
- Postgraduate training is not allowed during the tenure of the contract.

Selection Procedure

- Shortlisting – Only shortlisted applicants will be notified for further evaluation.
- Written Test & Interview – Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a written test and a formal interview.
- Medical Examination – Candidates who successfully pass the written test and interview will undergo a comprehensive medical examination at the Civil Surgeon Office in Karachi.
Note: No Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the test or interview.
Ineligibility Criteria
Candidates will be deemed ineligible for these positions under the following circumstances:
- If they have been dismissed or discharged from any government service on disciplinary grounds.
- If they have been convicted of a criminal offense involving moral or ethical misconduct.
