Nubia RedMagic 11 Air Launch Timeline and Expected Features Revealed

Nubia RedMagic 11 Air Launch Timeline and Expected Features Revealed

Nubia has officially confirmed that it is working on a new gaming smartphone called the RedMagic 11 Air. This upcoming phone will be the successor to the RedMagic 10 Air, which was launched earlier this year. As expected, the RedMagic 11 Air will focus heavily on gaming performance and high-end hardware. The device is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is designed for flagship-level speed and efficiency.

The confirmation came directly from Jiang Chao, Product Manager of RedMagic Gaming Phones. He mentioned the upcoming “Air” model in a post on Weibo, China’s popular social media platform. Jiang Chao also reshared a post from well-known tech tipster Digital Chat Station, which strongly suggests that the launch is not far away and that Nubia is already preparing for an official announcement.

For reference, the RedMagic 10 Air was launched in China in April 2025. According to Digital Chat Station, Nubia plans to introduce the RedMagic 11 Air in January 2026, starting with the Chinese market. This timeline matches Nubia’s usual release pattern for its gaming phones.

Expected Specifications and Features

Leaks and early reports suggest that the RedMagic 11 Air will come with an active cooling fan, a signature feature of RedMagic gaming phones. This fan helps keep the phone cool during long gaming sessions and improves overall performance. The phone is also expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, making it suitable for heavy gaming, multitasking, and high frame-rate gameplay.

The device is rumored to pack a large battery, ensuring longer gaming and usage time without frequent charging. It may also feature a full-screen display with an under-display front camera, which means no notch or punch-hole, offering a clean and immersive viewing experience for gamers.

Additional leaks suggest that the phone could sport a 6.85-inch AMOLED display, delivering vibrant colors and smooth visuals. On the camera side, it is expected to include a 50MP primary rear camera, which should be good enough for everyday photography. The RedMagic 11 Air may also come with up to 24GB of RAM, making it one of the most powerful gaming smartphones in its category.

At the moment, Nubia has not officially revealed the full specifications or the exact launch date of the RedMagic 11 Air. However, as the rumored January 2026 launch gets closer, more information and official teasers are expected to surface soon.
