The government of Saudi Arabia has shared new instructions for all airlines about people traveling with Umrah visas. According to the new rule, anyone with an Umrah visa will not be allowed to enter Saudi Arabia after the 15th day of Shawwal each year. This means that pilgrims must complete their travel before this date.
Saudi officials have told all airlines to strictly follow this rule. Airlines must not let passengers with Umrah visas board their flights after this deadline.
The Saudi aviation authority has also warned that if any airline breaks this rule, there will be serious consequences. Both the airline and the passenger may face strict actions or penalties.
In another important update, Saudi Arabia has approved an extra quota of 10,000 Hajj visas for Pakistani pilgrims. This decision was made after a special request by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar.
He discussed the matter with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. Ishaq Dar asked for more space so that more Pakistani Muslims could go for Hajj this year.
The Saudi government agreed to the request because of Ishaq Dar’s efforts, which were done under the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Thanks to this increase, the total number of Pakistanis who can perform Hajj this year has gone up to 189,210. This is a big relief for those who missed the original registration deadline and were worried they couldn’t go.
This step shows the strong relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and their shared commitment to helping Muslims perform their religious duties.
