Morocco Offers Fully Funded Scholarships to Pakistani Students for 2025–26

ISLAMABAD: In a valuable opportunity for Pakistani youth, the Kingdom of Morocco has announced 10 fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students who wish to study in Moroccan public universities and institutions for the academic year 2025–2026. These scholarships are aimed at students interested in higher, technical, and professional education in various fields.

The announcement was made by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, which is managing the application and nomination process.

This is a golden opportunity for talented students to experience international education in a culturally rich and academically strong country like Morocco. Studying abroad opens the door to:

  • World-class education
  • International networking
  • Personal growth
  • Career advancement

Students should start preparing their documents, test scores, and motivation letters as soon as possible. If you’re committed and eligible, don’t miss this chance.

If you need help writing your motivation letter or preparing for the HAT/USAT tests, feel free to ask!

What the Scholarship Covers

These scholarships are fully funded, which means the Moroccan government will pay for tuition fees, accommodation, and other basic living expenses. This gives students a chance to study abroad without financial burden.

In addition to academic costs, the scholarship usually covers:

  • University registration and admission fees
  • Monthly living allowance
  • Hostel accommodation
  • Health insurance (as per Moroccan government policies)
  • Visa processing assistance
  • Language training (French)

However, candidates should still budget for minor personal expenses like travel, stationery, and pocket money.

Who Can Apply?

The scholarships are available for nationals of Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK). Students who hold dual nationality (Pakistani + any other country) are not eligible.

The scholarship is open for studies in the following fields:

  • Medical Studies
  • Engineering

Language of Instruction – Know Before You Apply

The main language used for teaching in Moroccan universities is French, especially in areas like:

  • Science
  • Engineering
  • Medicine
  • Business
  • Economics

Because of this, students selected for French-taught programs will be required to take a French language course before traveling to Morocco. This will be held at French language centers such as Alliance Française, located in major cities like Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. These classes will run during the 2024–25 academic year.

For programs in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, and Islamic Studies, classes will be taught in Arabic, so applicants for these fields must be fluent in Arabic. No beginner language support is provided for Arabic-taught programs.

Students who wish to apply must complete the online application on the HEC’s official scholarship portal:

Relevant Accreditation Bodies:
