Lahore Board Announces New Date for Postponed 11th Class Exams

Lahore Board Announces New Date for Postponed 11th Class Exams

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has released a fresh schedule for the intermediate exams that were earlier postponed on May 7, 2025. This announcement brings clarity and relief to thousands of students who were waiting for an update on their pending exams.

Which Papers Were Postponed?

According to board officials, two important subjects were affected by the earlier postponement:

  • Islamiyat (Elective)
  • Principles of Accounting

These exams were originally scheduled for May 7 but had to be postponed due to unavoidable circumstances, possibly linked to administrative or security issues. Many students were left anxious about when the new dates would be announced.

New Date for the Exams

The board has now confirmed that both postponed papers will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025. This decision was made after carefully reviewing the situation to ensure that students are not put under unnecessary pressure and have enough time to revise their syllabus.

Students should make sure to mark the new date in their calendars and prepare accordingly, as these are core subjects for many academic groups, especially in commerce and humanities.

Reporting Time & Guidelines

Students appearing for the rescheduled exams are strongly advised to reach their examination centers at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. This is important because:

  • It gives enough time for identification checks.
  • Students can easily find their exam room and seat number.
  • Any last-minute confusion or delay can be avoided.

Examination centers will strictly follow the board’s rules, and latecomers may not be allowed to enter after the scheduled time.

Validity of Roll Number Slips

One of the key points mentioned by BISE Lahore is that students do not need to worry about getting new roll number slips. The same roll number slips that were issued before the postponement will still be valid and accepted on the new exam date.

This means students should keep their original roll number slips safe and bring them along on June 16 to gain entry into the exam center. In case someone has lost their slip, they are advised to contact the board office or their respective school/college as soon as possible to get a duplicate copy.

The BISE Lahore administration has also shared a message for students:

“We understand that unexpected changes in the exam schedule can be stressful. However, these decisions are made to ensure the safety and fairness of the examination process. We request students to remain focused and continue their preparation with full dedication.”

The board has further advised students and parents to stay connected through the official BISE Lahore website and social media platforms for any future updates or changes.
