Kuwait Visas for Pakistanis – Work, Family, Tourist Visas Now Available

Kuwait Introduces New Standard Fee for Work Permit Transfers

Kuwait has officially started giving out different types of visas again to Pakistani citizens. This is an important step in improving the relationship between the two countries and helping more Pakistanis work in Kuwait. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Zaffar Iqbal, confirmed this news and called it a positive move for both nations.

Since May, Pakistanis have begun receiving approvals for several visa types, including work visas, family visit visas, dependent visas, tourist visas, and commercial visas. These visa options will allow more people to travel, reunite with family, and work in Kuwait. The goal is to open up job opportunities and make the economic bond between Pakistan and Kuwait even stronger.

Dr. Iqbal also shared that 1,200 Pakistani nurses are expected to join Kuwait’s healthcare system soon. However, the first group of 125 nurses faced delays because of housing problems. He said that the issue is being fixed and that they hope the nurses will arrive shortly. “We expect their arrival soon,” he added with optimism.

In addition, Dr. Iqbal said that Pakistan and Kuwait are working closely to finalize a new labor agreement, known as a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Some parts of this agreement are already being followed, which shows good progress.

Talking about the strong relationship between the two countries, Dr. Iqbal mentioned that more than 93,000 Pakistanis are currently living in Kuwait. These people are playing important roles in fields like healthcare, education, and construction. He also talked about how Kuwait has invested in different projects in Pakistan. According to him, there are more chances for growth, especially in areas like agriculture, food security, and housing.

Dr. Iqbal also praised Kuwait for supporting Pakistan’s recent bid for a seat on the United Nations Security Council. He reminded everyone that Pakistan also helped Kuwait during the Gulf War by sending military support. He said the relationship between the two nations is built on a long history of friendship, cooperation, and mutual respect.
