PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has launched a large-scale school enrollment campaign, aiming to admit 1 million children into schools during the new academic year, ARY News reported.
To achieve this ambitious goal, the provincial government has initiated an extensive admission drive, ensuring that education is accessible to all children, especially those who are currently out of school.
Speaking on Sunday, Provincial Education Minister Faisal Tarakai reaffirmed the government’s commitment to bringing back out-of-school children into the education system. He emphasized that every possible effort will be made to provide these children with quality education and a better future.
The admission campaign will continue until April 30, allowing ample time for parents to enroll their children. To further facilitate the enrollment process, the government has also decided to admit students to second-shift schools where needed, ensuring that no child is left behind due to space limitations.
This initiative reflects the KP government’s dedication to improving literacy rates and expanding educational opportunities across the province.
