Kia Car Prices Increased in Pakistan – Check New Rates from July 1, 2025

Kia Car Prices Increased in Pakistan

Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC), the official distributor of Kia vehicles in Pakistan, has officially raised the prices of several popular models. These new prices came into effect starting July 1, 2025, and will impact all customers who receive invoices on or after that date.

Why Are Prices Going Up?

According to a statement from the company, this price increase is due to several key reasons:

  • New Government Taxes: A major factor is the newly introduced NEV Levy (New Energy Vehicle Levy), which was included in the federal budget 2025-26.
  • Weak Pakistani Rupee: The rupee has continued to lose value against the US dollar, making imported car parts more expensive.
  • Higher Shipping Costs: International freight charges have gone up significantly, which adds to the total cost of bringing cars into the country.

Even though LMC tried to keep prices stable for as long as possible, they stated that this increase was unavoidable due to the rising costs.

No Price Change for Electric Models

LMC confirmed that there is no price change for the following electric vehicles:

  • EV5 Air
  • EV5 Earth
  • EV9

This is good news for customers interested in switching to EVs, at least for now.

These revised prices will only apply to customer bookings invoiced on or after July 1, 2025. Keep in mind that final delivery costs may still change based on:

  • New government taxes or levies
  • Fluctuations in exchange rates
  • Any additional duties

If you’re planning to buy a Kia vehicle soon, it might be wise to check with your local dealer for the most updated prices and expected delivery dates. With costs rising across the board, car buyers in Pakistan will need to budget more carefully moving forward.
