Jazz, Pakistan’s leading digital services provider, has teamed up with Mercantile, Apple’s authorized distributor in the country, to introduce Pakistan’s first-ever iPhone Trade-In Program. This initiative aims to make the upcoming iPhone 16 series more accessible and budget-friendly for customers.
Under the program, users can trade in their PTA-approved iPhone 11 or newer models to receive a discount on the latest iPhone 16. To further enhance affordability, Jazz and Mercantile are offering an additional subsidy bonus on top of the trade-in value.
Ali Fahd, Head of Marketing at Jazz, emphasized the company’s commitment to digital inclusion, stating, “Jazz is dedicated to bridging the digital divide in Pakistan. Our collaboration with Mercantile to introduce the iPhone Trade-In Program highlights our focus on innovation and customer convenience. By making premium devices more accessible, we empower users to enhance their digital experience with seamless connectivity and value-added services.”
Nauman Durrani, CEO of Mercantile Pakistan, echoed this sentiment, saying, “This initiative simplifies how customers in Pakistan can upgrade to the latest iPhone models. By partnering with Jazz, we’re providing a hassle-free way for users to trade in older devices and enjoy an improved user experience.”
Currently, the program is available at Jazz Experience Centers in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi. More details can be found on Mercantile’s website. The trade-in offer is applicable only on full-price purchases and is not yet available for postpaid installment plans.
Beyond the trade-in program, Jazz has introduced an exclusive six-month package for customers purchasing a PTA-approved iPhone 16 through Jazz. This bundle includes 200GB of internet, six months of free airtime, e-SIM activation, discount vouchers, and handset insurance worth up to PKR 100,000, covering theft, loss, and damage.
Additionally, Jazz is offering the iPhone 16 series on an 18-month installment plan for postpaid customers, ensuring flexible payment options to cater to different financial needs. By driving digital inclusion through affordable access to premium devices, Jazz continues to support individuals and businesses in staying connected in an increasingly digital world.
