Pakistan’s star fast bowler, Haris Rauf, has stepped into a new chapter of his life—fatherhood. The cricketer recently introduced his newborn son to the world through a touching social media post, where he also revealed the baby’s name in an emotional caption.
Before Rauf’s official confirmation, his close friend and fellow cricketer, Shaheen Shah Afridi, first shared the joyful news on social media. His announcement was met with an overwhelming response from fans, fellow players, and celebrities, who flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the new parents.
Soon after, Haris Rauf took to Instagram to confirm the news himself. He shared a heartwarming picture, showing him lovingly cradling his baby boy. Though the newborn’s face was hidden, his tiny hand was visible, adding to the emotional moment. The beautifully decorated background hinted at the family’s joy and celebrations.
Alongside the picture, Haris Rauf shared an emotional caption inspired by the famous Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani, modifying the original verses to express his love for his son. He wrote:
“Give me a child with your stubborn heart, or even your temper,
give our kid your dark bright eyes, or your enchanted smile,
so that even when we are gone, the world will find within him all of the reasons why I loved you! 🤍✨”
He then proudly announced his son’s name: “Blessed to announce the birth of our precious baby, Muhammad Mustafa Haris.”
Rauf married Muzna Masood in July 2023, and their wedding was widely celebrated by fans. Their beautiful pictures quickly went viral, and now, with the birth of their first child, their journey as a family has begun.
Interestingly, a year ago, rumors falsely claimed that Rauf had already become a father, with an alleged image of a newborn circulating online. However, the cricketer denied these claims through an Instagram story. Now, with this official announcement, he has shared his happiness with the world.
