The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has launched a special helpline to help Hajj pilgrims get the latest updates about their flight schedules. This new service was started on the orders of Federal Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, with the aim of making the Hajj journey smoother and easier for Pakistani pilgrims.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, Muhammad Umar Butt, pilgrims can now call the helpline at 051-9216980 to get real-time information and guidance related to their travel plans. This includes flight timings, changes in schedules, and other important travel details.
The helpline will run 24 hours a day in two different shifts to make sure that pilgrims can get help at any time of the day or night. The service is being managed by Director of IT, Jameel-ur-Rehman, who is making sure everything works properly.
In the first shift, Hafiz Majid is in charge of the helpline. Pilgrims can contact him directly at +92-332-4509868 for any help or questions. In the second shift, Assistant Director Malik Asad will be leading the team. He can be reached at +92-321-5365023 for support.
Muhammad Umar Butt also said that all Hajj pilgrims are advised to stay in close contact with their respective Haji camps. These camps are there to help with coordination and to solve any issues the pilgrims might face during their journey.
The Ministry also announced on April 26 that all necessary arrangements for the 2025 Hajj operation have been completed. The first Hajj flight under the government scheme took off on April 29, and the last flight is planned to depart on May 31.
In total, 342 flights will carry Pakistani pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for Hajj this year. Around 89,000 pilgrims are expected to travel to the holy cities of Madina and Makkah under the government scheme.
The Hajj flight operation will last for 33 days. Most of the early flights, especially during the first 15 days, will take pilgrims directly to Madina.
