Government College (GC) University has officially opened admissions for its BS degree programs. This year, students can apply for admission in 55 different subjects, including popular and in-demand fields like Computer Science, Law, Pharmacy, and Artificial Intelligence.
According to university representatives, 39 subjects will be offered at the main campus, while the remaining 16 will be available at the newly established campus. To help students easily move between the two campuses, the university has introduced a shuttle bus service. This service will make transportation easier and save time for students who may have classes or activities at both locations.
In a major step to make the admission process easier and more affordable, the university has reduced the application fee this year. The online application system has also been improved, making it simpler and faster for students to apply from the comfort of their homes.
One of the biggest changes introduced this year is that the Vice Chancellor has removed the separate application fees for morning and evening programs. Now, students only need to pay one fee, regardless of which shift they are applying for. This will save students money and reduce financial pressure on families.
For students applying under the sports quota, there’s more good news. Now, they can take part in trials for multiple sports by paying a single fee. This allows talented athletes to explore more opportunities without worrying about extra costs.
The last date to submit the admission forms is June 13. All applicants must make sure to complete their forms and submit them before this deadline. After that, the university will conduct written admission tests on June 21 and June 22.
To make it easier for students from different cities to attend the tests, GC University has set up test centers in eight different cities, including Multan, Faisalabad, and Sargodha, which are newly added this year. This change will help students avoid long travel and make the admission process more convenient for everyone.
With these changes, GC University aims to create a more student-friendly, affordable, and accessible admission system. These efforts reflect the university’s commitment to supporting students from all backgrounds and helping them pursue higher education without unnecessary difficulties.
