What Is the Discover Vancouver Program?
The Discover Vancouver program is a short-term cultural exchange experience happening from August 26 to 29, 2025. It’s specially designed to help international participants learn more about Canadian culture through fun and interactive activities.
From visiting famous landmarks and museums to connecting with Indigenous communities and enjoying the natural beauty of British Columbia, the program offers a unique way to experience Canada.

- Application Fee: $50 USD
Funding Options: Fully & Partially Funded
There are two types of funding available for selected applicants:
Fully Funded (Only 10 Participants)
This package covers:
- Round-trip international airfare
- Hotel accommodation and meals
- Museum and attraction entrance fees
- Guided city tours and local transport
Partially Funded (20 Participants)
This option includes:
- Accommodation and meals in Canada
- Entrance to museums and attractions
- Local transportation and guided activities
You will need to cover your own airfare if selected under this option.
All selected participants will also get an official invitation letter to help with their Canadian visa application.
Who Can Apply?
You don’t need to be a student or a travel expert to join! The program welcomes people from all backgrounds.
To apply, you must:
- Be able to communicate in English (no certificate needed)
- Have some travel experience (preferred)
- Be interested in Canadian culture and history
- Be active on social media (bloggers, photographers, and content creators are encouraged to apply!)
- Be ready for a life-changing experience
3-Day Program Itinerary (August 26–29, 2025)
Here’s what you can expect each day:
Day 1: Cultural & Historical Tour of Vancouver
- Welcome session and group orientation
- City tour: Gastown, Canada Place, Stanley Park
- Explore the Vancouver Art Gallery
- Evening networking event with fellow travelers and local experts
Day 2: Nature, Culture & Indigenous Heritage
- Trip to Grouse Mountain – scenic views and fun activities
- Join an Indigenous cultural session to learn about First Nations traditions
- Tour the creative hub of Granville Island
- Enjoy a relaxing walk along Sunset Beach followed by a group dinner
Day 3: Science, Innovation & Farewell
- Visit Science World Vancouver for hands-on learning
- Discover the beauty of Queen Elizabeth Park and Bloedel Conservatory
- Final farewell ceremony and certificate distribution
