The federal government has officially announced holidays for Eid and the spring season for all educational institutions that fall under its control. This decision was shared through an official notice issued by the Ministry of Federal Education.
According to the announcement, all schools and colleges operating under the federal system will remain closed for five days, starting from March 31 and ending on April 4. This means students and teachers will get a break during this period.
The Ministry also confirmed that once the holidays are over, the new academic session will begin on April 7. This schedule applies to all federal government schools and colleges across the country, ensuring a uniform academic calendar for students and staff.
In a separate development, the federal government also announced official holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr. A notification from the Cabinet Division, released on Wednesday, confirmed that the Eid break will last for three days.
As per the notification, the Eid holidays will start on Monday, March 31, and end on Wednesday, April 2. These public holidays will allow people to celebrate the religious festival with their families and loved ones.
This decision ensures that both students and employees working under the federal government get time to enjoy the festive occasion while also having a break for the spring season.
