Yuri Kolokolnikov (born December 15, 1980) is a Russian-Canadian stage and film actor. Internationally, he is best known for his portrayal of Styr, the Magnar of Thenn, in HBO’s Game of Thrones, and for his role as Russian diplomat Gennadi Bystrov in the FX series The Americans.

Born in Moscow, Kolokolnikov moved to Canada with his mother and brother following his parents’ divorce but returned to Russia as a child to live with his father. He began acting early, landing a small role in Savva Kulish’s Iron Curtain shortly after his return. He went on to study film and theatre in Moscow, launching a successful career in Russian cinema and television before gaining international attention.
