Yousuf Bashir Qureshi is a famous Pakistani fashion designer, artist, actor, musician, poet, and farmer. His also known to the world to as YBQ. He was born on the 2nd of March 1971 in the city of Karachi, Pakistan. Yousuf Bashir Qureshi High Schooling was from Pakistan Steel Cadet College, he went to the US to study Food Sciences. In 2004 Yousuf Bashir Qureshi moved back to Pakistan on the wish of his best friend, his late grandfather, Zahir-ud-din Qureshi. His family warehouses became his nest to start his career as an artist, teacher and a student.

His first designer clothing line reflected a unique fusion of traditional South Asian styles with his personal artistic flair, heavily inspired by Sufi mysticism. After returning to Pakistan in 2004, Qureshi established his base in Karachi, using his family-owned warehouses to launch his creative career. His work in fashion quickly gained recognition for its spiritual depth and cultural richness.

Beyond fashion, Qureshi has made his mark through photography exhibitions and poetic performances, particularly in Dubai. His artistic versatility extends to music, where he occasionally performs and records. Notably, in 2017, he collaborated with singer Natasha Baig on a soulful Sufi track. His deep, resonant voice has become one of his artistic signatures. Qureshi also appeared in Shehzad Roy’s music video Jind Jaan, showcasing his presence in the entertainment industry.

YBQ’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists is evident through his teaching role at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, where he instructs courses in fashion design. In 2016, he ventured into acting with a supporting role in the film Senti Aur Mental, later appearing occasionally in television and cinema. Outside his creative pursuits, Qureshi manages his family’s farm in Mirpur Sakro, balancing urban creativity with rural stewardship. His diverse career illustrates a seamless blend of tradition, spirituality, and modern artistic expression.
