Yasmin Kassim is an Australian–South Asian actor, writer, and comedian known for her dynamic presence across television, film, and live performance. Her screen credits include appearances in HBO Max’s Sex Lives of College Girls, NBC/Peacock’s Joe Exotic, Netflix’s Dive Club, and the Australian soap Neighbours. She starred opposite Daniel Radcliffe in the survival thriller Jungle and appeared alongside Adrian Grenier in the short film You Always. Kassim has demonstrated her writing talents as well, co-writing and starring in To the Death, a short film directed by Rose McIver, which earned her the Best Actress award at the Shut the Gate Film Festival.

Kassim’s comedic work is equally notable. She was the first Australian performer selected for the CBS Comedy Diversity Showcase and regularly performs stand-up at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. In Australia, she completed a sold-out comedy tour with Brown Women Comedy, performing at both the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festival. Her sharp wit and candid stage presence have established her as a standout voice in a growing wave of diverse and boundary-pushing comedians.

Beyond acting and comedy, Kassim’s creative pursuits include developing a feature film and television pilot, both of which are currently in production. An entertainer from a young age, she even performed as a child in Michael Jackson’s HIStory tour—a surreal career milestone she humorously describes as a high point that’s proven tough to top. Balancing humor, heart, and ambition, Kassim continues to make her mark as a rising talent in both Australian and international entertainment.
