It started with speculation that Hania Aamir might be removed or replaced in the film — not by another actress, but by AI technology. Many questioned if her scenes would be digitally altered to remove her presence while keeping the rest of the film intact for Indian audiences. Despite this, Indian media reports have continued to spark new rumors. Some claim that filmmakers may still use AI technology to digitally alter Hania’s scenes for the Indian version of the film. The idea being discussed online is that her face could be replaced using deepfake-style AI methods, allowing the movie to bypass political backlash in India while keeping the overseas version intact.
So far, there has been no official confirmation from the filmmakers or lead actor Diljit Dosanjh about the use of AI or any plans to digitally alter Hania Aamir’s role. But what’s clear is that Diljit has shown courage by continuing with the film’s overseas release despite intense pressure and industry silence within India. None of his fellow Indian actors or celebrities shared the trailer or voiced support, indicating that Diljit may be standing alone on this.
Meanwhile, Sardaar Ji 3 is all set to release overseas on 27th June, and Hania Aamir’s fans in Pakistan are excited to see her on the big screen in this cross-border collaboration. Whether AI will play a part in her presence on Indian screens remains to be seen, but for now, she remains a part of the film and continues to win hearts globally.
