Why Isn’t Komal Aziz Getting Married? The Actress Shares Her Thoughts

Komal Aziz Khan, the beautiful and talented actress of the Pakistani showbiz industry, has won hearts with her remarkable performances in hit dramas like Mohlat, Kasa-e-Dil and Bharosa Pyar Tera. Recently, during an appearance on a morning show, she opened up about a personal aspect of her life that left fans surprised.

During the interview, when the host asked her what she fears the most, Komal Aziz candidly admitted that marriage has become a symbol of fear for her. The actress explained that while she is incredibly brave—capable of standing in protests, running a business, and facing controversies—the thought of marriage has always intimidated her.

Komal shared that the marriages she witnessed growing up were not inspiring enough to encourage her towards it. This observation became the root of her hesitation and fear towards marriage.

According to Komal, her priority has always been independence—earning her own living and making her own decisions. That is why she believes she will only consider marriage seriously when she is certain that her freedom and independence will not be compromised. She also mentioned that many women in her office have quit their jobs after marriage, which remains a concern for her.

However, Komal also pointed out that in her family, the environment does not restrict women after marriage, and this is gradually easing her fear over time.

In a previous interview, the actress also made it clear that she would marry someone who earns more than her and is more successful because, for her, equality and understanding form the foundation of a successful relationship. She believes that the high standards she has set for her future partner are a major reason for the delay in her marriage.
