Tramell Tillman is an American actor best known for his role as Seth Milchick in the Apple TV+ series Severance (2022–present). Born in Washington, D.C., Tillman was raised in Largo, Maryland, in a Baptist household as the youngest of six children. His mother worked for the U.S. government and his father for Amtrak. After graduating from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland, in 2003, he initially pursued a pre-med track at Xavier University of Louisiana. However, following Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and a change in his interests, he transferred to Jackson State University, where he earned a B.S. in mass communication summa cum laude in 2008. Driven by a passion for performance, Tillman went on to receive an MFA in acting from the University of Tennessee in 2014, becoming the first African-American to graduate from that program.
