Tej Sapru is a famous Indian actor. He was born on known 5 January 1955 in Bombay, Bombay State, India. Tej plays mostly supporting and villainous roles. The son of yesteryear actors, D.K. Sapru and Hemvati, Tej in his illustrious career spanning over 30 years has acted in more than 190 films and 50 TV series. Some of his most popular films include Insaaf Main Karoonga (1985), Tridev (1989), Mohra (1994), Gupt (1997), Khatron Ke Khiladi (2001), Alag (2006), and Rangeelay (2013). His 2018 release includes YD Family, a Gujarati comedy-drama directed by Yash Shreedatt Vyas.
Apart from films, Tej Sapru has also worked extensively in the TV industry. Some of his popular TV appearances include Qubool Hai, Saat Phere, Chandragupta Maurya, and Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
Tej Sapru is the son of the legendary actor (late father – D.K. Sapru, and actress- mother Hemvati Sapru. While his sister, Preeti Sapru is also working in the cinema as an actress. In 1987, Tej Sapru got married Dhanalakshmi Sapru with whom he is blessed with a daughter named Akanksha Sapru.
