Tazeen Hussain is a Pakistani actor. She was born on 1st January 1970 in Karachi, Pakistan. Tazeen Hussain made her acting debut in 1994 with Raqeeb, a telefilm aired on Shalimar Television Network, opposite Faisal Rehman. Her nuanced portrayal immediately caught attention and opened doors for further opportunities. Soon after, she appeared in Syed Mohammad Ahmed’s telefilm Aurat, which further highlighted her ability to take on emotionally layered characters. In the drama serial Shahpar, she was seen as a young woman grappling with management and control issues, a role that added depth to her growing portfolio.
After several notable television appearances, she decided to step back from acting, focusing on her personal life and family. For more than fifteen years, she remained away from the spotlight, until she made a much-awaited comeback in 2022. Her return was marked by a role in Mohammed Ehteshamuddin’s drama Yunhi, where she portrayed a composed and divorced daughter in a traditional Pakistani family. Her subtle and mature performance was praised by audiences, who appreciated the sensitivity she brought to the character.
