Surinder Arora is an Indian writer & actor. He was born in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Surinder Arora is a graduate of Kurukshetra University and further honed his craft at the Department of Indian Theatre at Punjab University, Chandigarh. His foundational years in theatre shaped his deep connection with the performing arts, allowing him to explore a wide range of emotions and characters. He worked extensively on stage, notably performing in The Transposed Desires with the Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi at the Tagore Theatre. His stage experience cemented his reputation as a charismatic performer known for his passionate portrayals and transformative acting style.
Surinder Arora transition from stage to screen began with the 2015 Punjabi film A Tale of Punjab, in which he starred alongside Preet Bhullar, Kul Sidhu, and Dheeraj Kumar. The film was a tribute to Punjabi culture and history. He continued to build his film career with impactful performances, including his role as Bunty in the 2022 action-packed drama Babbar. In 2023, he took on the role of Harry Singh in U-Turn, a horror mystery film that highlighted his range as an actor.
