Supreeth Reddy is an Indian actor widely recognized for his work in Telugu-language films, primarily portraying villainous and supporting characters. He rose to fame with his menacing performance as Katraj in Chatrapathi, a role that established him as a prominent on-screen antagonist. His filmography includes impactful roles in movies like Maryada Ramanna, as well as appearances in Hindi films such as Rowdy Rathore—a remake of Vikramarkudu—and Ghajini, where he played one of the antagonists opposite Aamir Khan.

Supreeth had a keen interest in films since childhood and also excelled as a volleyball player during his early years. Though he missed out on early opportunities like the auditions for Jayam, he eventually found his path in the film industry. Encouraged by director Teja to build a portfolio, Supreeth got his break with Pawan Kalyan’s directorial debut Johnny. He underwent rigorous training in rugby for his role in S. S. Rajamouli’s sports drama Sye, showcasing his commitment to preparing for diverse characters.

Interestingly, Supreeth was originally cast as a friend of Prabhas in Chatrapathi but was later reassigned to play the villain—a pivotal decision that catapulted his career. Despite receiving offers to play leading roles, Supreeth chose to focus on character-driven parts, especially those in negative shades. He cites veteran actors Mohan Babu and Kota Srinivasa Rao as his inspirations, reflecting his appreciation for nuanced, powerful performances in Telugu cinema.
