Sunny Leone is a Canadian-American model and actress who has worked in both American and Indian films. She was born on May 13, 1981 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. She is know for former pornographic actress and also Bigg Boss 5, Jism 2, Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli Leela and Raees.
Sunny Leone has played roles in independent mainstream events, films, and television series. Her first mainstream appearance was in 2005, when she worked as a red carpet reporter for the MTV Video Music Awards on MTV India. In 2011, she participated in the Indian reality television series Bigg Boss. She also has hosted the Indian reality show Splitsvilla.
In 2012, she made her Bollywood debut in Pooja Bhatt’s erotic thriller Jism 2 (2012) and shifted her focus to mainstream acting which was followed up with Jackpot (2013), Ragini MMS 2 (2014), Ek Paheli Leela (2015), Tera Intezaar (2017), and the Malayalam film Madhura Raja in 2019.
Sunny Leone mother, who was born in Himachal Pradesh and lived in Delhi, and her father, who was born in Tibet and raised in Delhi, are both Tibetans. Sunny’s family moved from Fort Gratiot, Michigan, to Lake Forest, California, when she was 13 years old.
They moved in with her grandparents a year later. Sunny went to Catholic school despite hailing from a traditional Sikh family because her parents thought she would be uncomfortable at a public school. Sunny was always interested in sports as a kid and used to play street hockey with the boys in her neighborhood.
Sunny Leone is married to Daniel Weber, her current manager, and former adult film co-star. On March 4, 2018, Leone and her husband announced the birth of their twin boys, born through surrogacy. They named the boys Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber.
