Stavros Halkias is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and podcaster recognized for his sharp humor and charismatic stage presence. Born on February 11, 1989, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Greek immigrant parents, he first gained attention in the early 2010s performing comedy while attending the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. His career began locally, earning him the title of Baltimore’s New Comedian of the Year in 2012, before he moved to New York City, where he expanded into podcasting, television, and digital media.
Halkias rose to prominence as a founding co-host of the cult-favorite podcast Cum Town, which ran from 2016 to 2022. He has since hosted the popular advice show-turned-podcast Stavvy’s World and co-hosted Pod Don’t Lie, a basketball podcast with comedian Sam Morril. Known for his unfiltered comedic voice and affable delivery, Halkias has also made appearances on Comedy Central, Adult Swim, and other platforms. In 2024, he began co-starring in the Netflix comedy series Tires, continuing to grow his presence in mainstream media while staying grounded in his stand-up roots.
