Siddhanth Kapoor is an Indian actor, assistant director, and DJ who works primarily in the Hindi film industry. Born on July 6, 1984, in Mumbai, he is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor and the elder brother of popular actress Shraddha Kapoor. Siddhanth began his career behind the camera, working as an assistant director on a number of Priyadarshan’s films including Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), Bhagam Bhag (2006), Chup Chup Ke (2006), and Dhol (2007). He studied filmmaking and acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, gaining both theoretical and practical knowledge of cinema.
He transitioned to acting with his debut in Shootout at Wadala (2013), a crime thriller directed by Sanjay Gupta, where he starred alongside Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, and Kangana Ranaut. He followed this with a role in Anurag Kashyap’s psychological thriller Ugly (2014), in which he also served as an assistant director. Siddhanth has shown an affinity for dark and intense roles and continues to balance both acting and his work as a DJ, performing under the stage name “Bullzeye.” His performances, though limited in number, have shown promise and diversity across genres.
However, Siddhanth Kapoor’s career has also seen controversy. In 2022, he was arrested by Bengaluru police during a rave party for alleged drug consumption, which attracted widespread media attention. While this incident cast a shadow over his public image, he remains a part of the entertainment industry, navigating both its creative opportunities and its personal challenges.
