Shyam Prasad is a South Indian film actor and director. He was born on 23 November 1990 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He is famous for Thazh Thiravaa, Rudhran, Vattam, Hey Sinamika & Singa Penne (Web Series in ZEE5).

Shyam Prasad played Ivan Thathiran with Gautham Karthik and Shraddha Srinath, Ayyanar Veethi with “K Bhagyaraj,” “Thiruttu Payale 2” with “Prasanna” and Bobby Simha, “Velaikkaran” with “Sivakarthikeyan” and “Nayanthara” and “96” with Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan.

Shyam Prasad had also worked as a production manager for Thalapathy “Vijay” and Hansika Motwani starrer “Puli.” He also played in a few short films as the lead actor.

After becoming an actor, he received appreciation from his alma mater, VIT. During the 2017 Alumni Association Meeting in VIT, Shyam Prasad was honored with a special award by the VIT Chancellor, G Vishwanathan. Shyam part in the new upcoming movie Indian 2 which he plays a supporting role as an actor in the movie.
