Shriya Pilgaonkar is an popular Indian actress. She was born on 25th April 1989 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. Shriya Pilgaonkar began her journey in the entertainment industry at a very young age. At just five years old, Shriya Pilgaonkar made her television debut in the popular Hindi sitcom Tu Tu Main Main, playing the role of a young boy named Bittu. Her early exposure to the screen set the foundation for a promising career in acting. In 2012, Pilgaonkar made her stage debut with Freedom Of Love, a 10-minute short play directed by Karan Shetty. The performance was part of the National Centre for the Performing Arts’ (NCPA) Short and Sweet Festival, where she showcased her versatility by acting, singing, and dancing—all in a single act.

Shriya Pilgaonkar made her big screen debut in the Marathi film Ekulti Ek (2013), where she played the role of Swara. The film was written, directed, and produced by her father, veteran actor-filmmaker Sachin Pilgaonkar. Initially hesitant to accept the role as a favor, Shriya was reassured by her father, who emphasized his belief in her talent. Her performance in Crackdown was particularly well-received, with India Today stating that she “impresses” in the role. In 2021, her only appearance was in the bilingual film Kaadan, which highlighted environmental issues and further demonstrated her versatility as an actress committed to meaningful cinema.

In 2022, Shriya Pilgaonkar showcased her versatility with four web releases. She earned critical acclaim for her performance as Advocate Kashaf in Guilty Minds, a legal drama opposite Varun Mitra. In 2023, Pilgaonkar took on a variety of roles, beginning with the titular character in the short film Sita. She then played Madhubala, a sex worker, in the hit series Taaza Khabar alongside Bhuvan Bam. She further impressed audiences as Siya, an independent pregnant woman in Ishq-e-Nadaan, starring alongside Mrinal Dutt and Suhail Nayyar.
