Shoaib Malik is a well-known Pakistani cricketer. He born on 1 February 1982 in Sialkot, Pakistan Kakazai Pashtun family. Malik, Cricketers is famous for Cricket. Shoaib Malik began playing tape-ball cricket on the streets as a child. When, he attended Imran Khan’s coaching clinics in Sialkot in 1993/94, he began to take cricket seriously. He began as a batsman only developing on his bowling later. He used to get in trouble with his family for playing cricket, as they wanted him to focus on his education. In 1996, Malik attended trials for the U-15 World Cup. He was selected in the squad for his bowling.
He made his One-Day International debut in 1999 against the West Indies and his Test debut in 2001 against Bangladesh. Malik was ranked second, behind teammate Shahid Afridi, in the ICC ODI all-rounder rankings in June 2008. In March 2010, Malik received a one-year ban from international cricket from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB); the ban was overturned two months later.
Malik has taken more than 150 ODI wickets. The bowling action of his was criticized, but he underwent a surgery to correct it. Shoaib received a one-year ban from PCB which overturned two months later. This cricketer also became the first Asian batsman to score 2,000 runs in T20s and third overall.
Malik started off as a batsman and developed his bowling later. As a 14-year-old, Malik was given the chance to play in Lombard Under-15 Challenge in 1996. He got selected in the squad of U-15 for his bowling in the same year.
Malik’s bowling action has a great resemblance to Saqlain Mushtaq. For many watching him play made them feel as if they were watching a junior Saqlain. He is one of the very few cricketers who have played in every position from one to ten in ODIs.
