Sarah Pidgeon is an American actress known for her emotionally complex performances and compelling screen presence. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Leah Rilke in the Amazon Prime Video series The Wilds (2020–2022), a drama that explored the psychological and physical challenges of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island. In 2023, she continued to impress audiences with her portrayal of the younger version of Clare in Hulu’s Tiny Beautiful Things, a series adaptation of Cheryl Strayed’s beloved book. Pidgeon made her Broadway debut in 2024 in David Adjmi’s play Stereophonic, showcasing her range as a stage performer.

Raised in Michigan, Pidgeon developed a love for the arts early in life. She attended Birmingham Groves High School and spent her summers at Interlochen Arts Camp, where she honed her craft in theater. Outside of school, she also performed in local productions at the Community House in Birmingham, which further deepened her passion for acting. Her early dedication to the performing arts led her to enroll at Interlochen Arts Academy, one of the country’s top institutions for young artists, where she graduated in 2014.

Pidgeon continued her education in drama at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in Pittsburgh, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2018. Her rigorous training, combined with her natural talent, prepared her for a successful career in both television and theater.
