Roshan Mathew is a Talented Indian actor and director. He was born on 22 March 1992 in Changanassery, Kerala, India. He started his career as a theatre artist in August 2010, when the Chennai-based theatre company, Stagefright Productions came to Roshan’s college to audition for the actors for their theatre play, Dirty Dancing. Roshan will be a part of the new upcoming Indian movie Ulajh (2024).
In February 2011, he played the role of Neal Kellerman at The Museum Theatre, Chennai. While he was at Madras Christian College, Roshan and his friends started a theatre group, Theatre No. 59.
In 2016, he acted in The Drama School Mumbai’s adaptation of Eugene Shwartz, ‘The Dragon.’ Some of his other theatre plays are Kamala, Leap, The Uprising, Tughlaq, Murder Me Always, and Given. In 2015, he debuted as an actor in Sony LIV’s web miniseries, ‘Tanlines’ in which he played the role of Dan.
In 2015, he did a cameo role in the Malayalam film, ‘Adi Kapyare Kootamani,’ in which he played the role of Premraj. He has appeared in various Malayalam films, including ‘Aanandam’ (2016), ‘Matchbox’ (2017), ‘Koode’ (2018), ‘Moothon’ (2019), and ‘Kappela’ (2020). In 2020, he appeared in the Netflix Original film, ‘Choked’ starring Saiyami Kher.
Roshan Mathew’s father, Mathew Joseph Thevalakkara is a retired Deputy General Manager of Canara Bank. His mother, Regina Augustine is a retired PWD engineer. He has one sister, Reshma Rege Mathew.
