Rasheed Naz is a Senior Pakistani Actor. He was born on September 9 1948 in Peshawar, Pakistan. He has appeared in several movies including Kyun Tumse Itna Pyar Hai, Kashf: The Lifting of the Veil, Kandahar Break: Fortress of War, Baby, and Karachi Se Lahore. His TV appearances include Diyar-e-Dil and Manzil. Apart, Rasheed Naz also will be a part of the new upcoming Tamil-language movie 72 Hoorain (2023).
Rasheed’s acting career began in 1971 with a Pashoto drama. In 1973, he made his debut in Urdu drama with Aik Tha Gabon. Zama Jang was his first Pashto film as a debutante. Moreover, in Urdu movies, he made his film Dakait with talented director Syed Noor in 2001.
Aside from that, he also starred in the Bollywood film Baby in 2015 alongside Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, and Madhurima Tuli. In 2009, he was also honored with the pride of the performance award for his superb acting and outstanding abilities for the Pakistan entertainment industry.
He was married to his cousin. Rasheed Naz’s wife belongs to a strict Pashtoon. He has a son named Hassan Noman. His son, Hassan Noman is also a film and tv actor. Hassan Noman began his film career with the Pakistani movie Dhulaari in 2013. His daughter-in-law, Madiha Rizvi, is also connected to the Pakistan showbiz industry. Rasheed Naz died in Islamabad, Pakistan on 17 January 2022 at the age of 73. For some time, he had been suffering from some health issues.
