Rajshri Deshpande is an Indian actress known for her powerful performances in films and web series. She gained international recognition with Pan Nalin’s Angry Indian Goddesses, later receiving critical acclaim for her lead role in Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s Sexy Durga, which won the Tiger Award at the Rotterdam Film Festival. Her role in Netflix’s Sacred Games further established her as a versatile actor, and in 2023, she won Best Actress in a Drama Series at the Filmfare OTT Awards for Trial by Fire. Born in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, into a working-class family, Deshpande holds a law degree and a postgraduate degree in advertising from Symbiosis International University, as well as a filmmaking diploma from Whistling Woods International.
