R. B. Choudary is an Indian film producer. His also known as Ratanlal Bhagatram Choudary. He was born in Chennai, India. He has worked across multiple film industries, predominantly in Tamil and Telugu, with a few Malayalam and Hindi films. He is also the founder of the production company Super Good Films. Before entering the world of cinema, he was involved in the steel, exports, and jewellery industries. His journey into film production began with the Malayalam film industry, where he produced a few films under the “Super” banner. In 1989, he made a significant move into the Tamil film industry, partnering with R. Mohan—best known for manufacturing “Good Knight” mosquito mats. Together, they produced several successful films under the same “Super” banner.

However, when the two decided to part ways professionally, he creatively adapted the name by borrowing “Good” from “Good Knight” and merged it with his original banner to create the now-iconic “Super Good Films.” This production house went on to become one of the most recognized names in South Indian cinema, producing numerous successful films across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and even Hindi industries. His business acumen and passion for storytelling helped him carve a lasting legacy in Indian film production.

R. B. Choudary married Mahjabeen, a Tamilian woman. They have several children, with their two youngest sons, Jithan Ramesh and Jiiva, both establishing careers as actors in the film industry.
