Pradeep Ranganathan is an Indian actor, film director, and screenwriter known for his works in Tamil cinema. He made his directorial debut with the commercial hit Comali (2019), starring Jayam Ravi and Kajal Aggarwal. His second film, Love Today (2022), based on his own short film App(a) Lock, became a blockbuster success and also marked his debut as a lead actor, turning him into an overnight sensation.

Pradeep completed his engineering degree at SSN College of Engineering. Before entering mainstream cinema, he gained recognition by creating short films like Whatsapp Kadhal (2015), often multitasking as an actor, editor, and director. His talent was noticed by producer Ravi Mohan and Vels International, who offered him his first feature film opportunity. Despite facing controversy during Comali‘s release for a scene referencing Rajinikanth’s political promises, the film succeeded at the box office.

Following the massive success of Love Today, Pradeep Ranganathan has emerged as one of the most promising young talents in Tamil cinema.
