Park Dan-Hee is a South Korean director, He was born on 5th February 1988 in South Korea. He gained recognition with the 2020 web series Ending Again, which delved into the complexities of modern relationships. In 2021, Park directed Blue Birthday, a fantasy-romance thriller where a woman revisits the past through mysterious photographs to uncover the truth behind her first love’s death. The series was well-received, leading to a theatrical release in 2022.
That same year, Park co-directed Weak Hero Class 1, a gritty coming-of-age action drama based on a popular webtoon. The series, praised for its intense storytelling and realistic portrayal of school violence, premiered at the Busan International Film Festival and was released on Wavve in November 2022. Its success led to a second season, which debuted on Netflix in April 2025.
Continuing his exploration of diverse genres, Park directed Tastefully Yours in 2025, a romantic comedy set in the culinary world. The series follows a food company heir and a passionate chef as they navigate love and ambition in a small-town restaurant. With a cast including Kang Ha-neul and Go Min-si, it premiered on ENA and Genie TV in May 2025.
