A heartbreaking incident from Balochistan has shocked the entire nation. A young couple, reportedly killed for choosing to marry out of love, became victims of what is being called an “honour killing.” A disturbing video of the murder recently went viral on social media, sparking anger, grief, and deep sadness across the country.
According to reports, the incident occurred around Eid-ul-Adha. In the viral video, a woman can be seen asking her killers to allow her to walk seven steps before shooting. She pleaded for mercy in Brahui language, saying, “You are allowed to shoot me, but nothing more.” Moments later, she was shot dead, allegedly by her own brother. Her husband was also brutally killed right after her.
This act of violence has led to strong reactions from people from all walks of life, including prominent showbiz celebrities. Many took to social media to express their sorrow and demanded justice for the innocent couple.

Usama Khan Questions the Meaning of Honour
Actor Usama Khan shared a post questioning the twisted idea of honour. “What kind of man kills his own daughter or sister in the name of honour but refuses to give her basic rights?” he asked. His post reflected the thoughts of many who feel that the society’s definition of ‘honour’ needs to change.

Naumaan Ijaz Also Speaks Out
Veteran actor Naumaan Ijaz also condemned the incident. He wrote, “Even during war, women are not supposed to be harmed. But here, people are killing women for loving someone.” His words served as a powerful reminder of the cruelty that still exists in parts of society.

Mishi Khan Demands Justice
Actress and host Mishi Khan shared a video where she expressed her deep pain over the incident. She said, “How can people kill a couple just because they got married by choice? What kind of jungle are we living in?” Mishi also blamed the weak legal system and corruption in the country. “This happens because the law is not strong. If justice is not served, such crimes will continue,” she said. She also highlighted the hypocrisy in society where illegal and immoral acts are tolerated but love marriages are punished with death.
