Pakistani star Ayesha Omar has opened up about the struggles she faced when she first stepped into the entertainment industry. Known today as one of the most confident and stylish actresses in Pakistan, Ayesha revealed that her journey was far from easy. She explained that in order to be taken seriously and respected, she had to adopt a tough and fearless approach very early in her career.

Speaking on the recently launched comedy show Never Mind, hosted by the popular duo Barkat and Uzmi, Ayesha shared personal stories about the challenges of being a young woman trying to establish herself in showbiz. She said that at the beginning, people did not view her as serious or professional. Many thought of her as too young or too carefree, and this made it easier for others, especially men in the industry, to try and cross boundaries. That was the turning point when she realized she had to completely change her image.
Ayesha explained that she began to carry herself with more strength and firmness. She decided to project confidence and a no-nonsense attitude so that no one would take advantage of her or see her as weak. The Bulbulay star also spoke about how her personal life shaped her journey. Moving from Lahore to Karachi to chase her dreams was not an easy step, especially as a young woman living alone in a big city. She recalled that being a single girl in a new place made her more vulnerable, and this pushed her to toughen up even further.
According to Ayesha, those struggles, though difficult, shaped her into the person she is today. She believes the challenges gave her resilience and strength, and in many ways, they prepared her for the demanding world of acting and producing. For her, being tough was not just a choice—it was the only way to survive and grow in a competitive industry.
In addition to sharing her personal journey, Ayesha also addressed recent rumors about her upcoming project Lazawal Ishq. Many reports on social media claimed that the show would be Pakistan’s version of a dating show, but Ayesha strongly denied this. She clarified that such assumptions are baseless and misleading. She said that while the program will allow young people to meet and get to know each other, it is not modeled on Western dating formats like Love Island. Instead, it is meant to provide a respectful platform for individuals to explore compatibility in a more traditional sense.
Ayesha stressed that her words had been misinterpreted by certain platforms and exaggerated online. She assured her fans that Lazawal Ishq is not a dating reality show but a new concept that aims to highlight relationships in a different, more meaningful way.
Through her candid conversation, Ayesha Omar has once again reminded her fans of the resilience behind her glamorous image. Her story shows that behind the spotlight lies years of struggle, strength, and determination that helped her survive and succeed in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
