O. A. K. Sundar is a seasoned Indian actor predominantly active in Tamil cinema and television, widely recognized for his powerful antagonistic roles. Born on January 3, 1970, he is the son of veteran actor O. A. K. Thevar, who also made a mark portraying villainous characters in Tamil films. Sundar made his acting debut with Nadodi Pattukkaran in 1992 and gradually built his career through a range of supporting roles. His breakthrough came with Virumaandi (2004), where his intense performance set the tone for many of his future roles.

Sundar’s television work has also been notable, especially his portrayal of Bheeshma in the Tamil serial Mahabharatam, which earned him critical acclaim.
