Mukesh Kumar Singh is a famous Indian director, writer and producer. He was born in Andhra Pradesh, India. Mukesh Kumar Singh is best known for Chandra Nandini (2017), Paapnaashini Ganga (2021), Dharm Yoddha Garud (2022). Currently, he is directing the highly anticipated Telugu film Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu and Preity Mukundan in the lead roles. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, R. Sarathkumar, Madhubala, Brahmanandam, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, and Sampath Ram. The production is being managed by Mohan Babu’s 24 Frames Factory.
In addition to his work in feature films, Mr. Singh has written, produced, and directed three acclaimed short films—Bruno, Teacher, and Home Sweet Home. These films have been officially selected for 64 national and international film festivals, earning 16 awards across various categories, including Best Short Film and Best Director. Notably, he received the Best Director – Super Short Film award at the prestigious Prague International Film Awards for Bruno, and Best Director for Home Sweet Home at the Himachal International Film Festival in 2024.
