Mita Vashisht is an well-known Indian actress. She was born on 2nd November 1967 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. She made her acting debut in the television science-fiction series Space City Sigma and gained wider recognition after her film debut in Chandni (1989), a romantic drama by Yash Chopra. Mita quickly established herself in the industry with notable performances in films like Ashwa: The Black Horse (1993), Tarpan (1995), and Ghulam (1998), where her nuanced acting won critical praise. She is married to renowned filmmaker Anup Singh.
