Mehrunisa Iqbal, a stunning and talented face of the Pakistani entertainment world, has been winning hearts with her performances in popular dramas like Bikhray Hain Hum, Ishqiya, Aik Sitam Aur, and Mere Ban Jao. Fans especially loved her powerful negative role in Ishqiya and appreciated her emotional portrayal in Aik Sitam Aur. Alongside her acting career, she’s also made a strong mark as a fashion model, often seen representing top clothing brands like Sapphire.
Just a few days ago, Mehrunisa tied the knot in a small, private family event. Her husband, Zikriya Shah, is based in the UK. The news of her sudden wedding surprised many of her fans, and now she’s finally opened up about it during her appearance on Nadia Khan’s show for 365 Entertainment.
Speaking about how it all happened, Mehrunisa shared,
“Honestly, even I didn’t see it coming! It was a completely family-arranged nikah. One day, they just told me to take some time out, and that’s when it all happened. I finally managed to free up a bit this month—and just like that, I got married!”
Her husband Zikriya also shared his side of the story, saying,
“From the moment I met her, I knew I wanted to marry her. She’s incredibly beautiful, but more than that—she’s kind and down-to-earth. We spoke to our families, everything just clicked, and we got married.”
When asked about her work, Mehrunisa revealed that while Zikriya doesn’t watch all of her dramas, he still supports her and sometimes gives his input.
“He’s not really into dramas, but he gives me advice here and there—it’s sweet,” she smiled.
