Mehreen Jabbar is a well known Pakistani-American film and television director & producer. She was born on 29th December 1971 in Karachi, Pakistan. Mehreen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Saint Joseph’s College, Karachi, after receiving a BA degree, she was sent to the US for the pursuit of her future. Where she studied film and received a two-year diploma certificate in Film, Television, and Video at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1993. With this certificate, she returned to Pakistan and started her career as a director and producer of dramas under the banner of TasVeer Productions.
Mehreen Jabbar made her directorial debut in 2008 with Ramchand Pakistani feature film, which starred Nandita Das, Rashid Farooqi, Syed Fazel Hussain, Maria Wasti and Noman Ijaz as a lead actor. In 2016, she directed her second debut in a feature romantic film “Dobara Phir Se” on ARY Digital. The film starred with Ali Kazmi, Hareem Farooq, Adeel Hussain, Tooba Siddiqui, Sanam Saeed, Atiqa Odho, Shaz Khan, and a child actor, Musa Khan.
