During the interview, Maya Ali revealed that her mother prays for her marriage in every prayer and wishes to see her settle down soon. However, Maya believes that marriage should not be rushed just to fulfill societal expectations. She stated, “The right person will come into my life at the right time. If we believe in destiny, we should also trust that everyone’s marriage is written at its appointed time.”
Maya Ali shared that she frequently faces questions about her marriage, especially after her younger brother’s wedding. She recalled, “People asked why my younger brother got married before me, as if marriage follows a set order! But I believe marriage isn’t a competition—it happens when it’s meant to.”
When asked about her ideal life partner, Maya Ali emphasized the importance of respect and understanding. She shared, “I will marry someone who respects my mother, understands my work, and values me as a person. A woman deserves the importance and respect she is entitled to, and if a person can provide that, I would have no hesitation in marrying him.”
