Farshi Shalwar has taken the fashion world by storm, becoming one of the most talked-about trends on social media. From top designers incorporating it into their latest collections to influencers making reels about it, this traditional yet stylish bottom wear is making a strong comeback. However, not everyone is on board with the trend—many fashion enthusiasts have voiced mixed opinions. As the Eid buzz fades, more women are curious about whether Farshi Shalwar is the right choice for them.
Renowned Pakistani fashion designer Maria B recently addressed this trend in a detailed video, sharing her expert opinion on who can pull off the look best. According to her, Farshi Shalwar is not a universally flattering style and suits a specific body type.
Talking about it, Maria B explained, “Farshi Shalwar is not for everyone. For example, I would love it on my teenage daughter every day, but I wouldn’t prefer wearing it all the time because I am over 45. Also, it suits girls who are tall and slim rather than those with a shorter or curvier body.”
Her statement has sparked discussions among fashion lovers, with some agreeing that the trend complements taller individuals, while others believe that with the right styling, anyone can rock it. Whether you love it or not, Farshi Shalwar is undoubtedly one of the biggest fashion statements of the season!
