Leona Lishoy (born 26 April 1991) is an Indian actress and model predominantly known for her work in Malayalam cinema. She is the daughter of the renowned Malayalam actor Lishoy. Born and raised in Kerala, Leona completed her schooling at Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi School in Thrissur and pursued higher education at Christ University, Bengaluru. She further enhanced her academic credentials by obtaining an MBA diploma from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru.
Leona began her career as a model, appearing in various advertisements before making her film debut. She first appeared as Sharada’s daughter in Kalikaalam (2012) and then played a significant role in Jawan of Vellimala (2012), starring alongside Mammootty and Mamtha Mohandas. Over the years, she expanded her filmography with roles in diverse films such as the sci-fi Red Rain (2013), and cameo appearances in North 24 Kaatham and Haram. Leona gained recognition for her performance as Dr. Treesa in Annmariya Kalippilannu (2016) and for portraying an orphan in Hadiyya (2017).
Leona’s career continued to flourish with notable roles in Viswasapoorvam Mansoor (2017), Maradona (2018), Queen (2018), and Athiran (2019). Her acclaimed portrayal of Sameera, a movie actress in Mayanadi, was widely praised. She also starred in the thriller-drama Ishq and earned critical acclaim for her nuanced role as a police officer in Prasobh Vijayan’s Anveshanam (2020), alongside Jayasurya and Shruti Ramachandran, further establishing her as a versatile and talented actress in Malayalam cinema.
