After 6 years of painful treatment, she finally survived cancer. Laila’s father Rizwan Wasti passed away in 2011 and her mother Tahira Wasti passed away in 2012. She has two older brothers Rehan Wasti and Adnan Wasti. Laila’s cousin Maria Wasti is also an actress.
She graduated in English literature from Saint Joseph Convent and did her Master’s in filmmaking from the University of California, Los Angeles. Laila Wasti belongs to a well-educated family.
