Krish Thirukumaran is an Indian filmmaker with over two decades of experience in the film industry. Having laid a strong foundation through years of dedicated work, he began his career as an associate to the renowned director A.R. Murugadoss. As part of the direction and script teams, Krish contributed to several high-profile Pan-Indian blockbusters including Ghajini, Ezham Arivu (7aum Arivu), Thuppakki, and Sarkar. These experiences honed his storytelling sensibilities and visual style, helping him emerge as a director in his own right.

He made his directorial debut with Maan Karate (2014), a sports comedy that became a commercial success and played a pivotal role in strengthening actor Sivakarthikeyan’s standing in Tamil cinema. Known for its lively narrative and mass appeal, the film showcased Krish’s ability to blend humor, fantasy, and emotional depth effectively. His second directorial venture, Gethu (2016), an action thriller starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, further demonstrated his skill in crafting visually engaging films with a strong cinematic atmosphere.
