Kôji Ohkura (大倉 孝二), born on July 18, 1974, in Tokyo, Japan, is a versatile Japanese actor and voice actor with a career spanning over two decades. He gained recognition for his voice role as Commander Amarao in the cult-classic anime FLCL (2000) and reprised a related role, Masurao, in FLCL Progressive (2018) . Ohkura has also appeared in numerous live-action films and television series, including Doomsday: The Sinking of Japan (2006) and The Top Secret: Murder in Mind (2016) .
Standing at 187 cm (6’1½”), Ohkura is known for his distinctive presence and has portrayed a wide range of characters in both comedic and dramatic roles. His filmography includes appearances in Ping Pong (2002), Detroit Metal City (2008), and The Great Yokai War: Guardians (2021) . In addition to his film work, he has been featured in various television dramas, such as Youkai Sharehouse (2020–2022) and Kotaro Lives Alone (2021–2023) . Ohkura has been married to Mizuho Shumon since September 2006, and they have one child .
